Log Line:
Celtic warrior Finn McCool travels through time to modern day Boston to protect an ancient portal to the 'otherworld'. In doing so he must recruit a trust fund playboy, Conor, the last mcCool.

Idea background:
I spent the night on Scotland's infamous Rannoch Moor while trekking the West Highland Way in 2009.

In the early hours I was woken by something battering on the side of my tent. Too scared to venture outside I needed a distraction. It came in the form of a book in my backpack about 'Finn McCool' and his Fianna' army.

I knew nothing of our Fianna protectors before that night but they gave me some much needed comfort. This pilot script was born inside that tent surrounded by the haunted landscape. Legend has it that on the side of every mountain in Scotland and Ireland the Fianna are sleeping, waiting to rise up. My hope is that we can give them that opportunity.
